Lineup Editor Instructions
Overview
Your lineup has 9 slots, each assigned a position (1B, 2B, SS, etc.). Each slot can hold multiple players in priority order. On any given day, the starter for a slot is the first player in that slot who records 2 or more plate appearances — as long as they haven't already started in an earlier slot. Slots are processed in order from 1 to 9.
Reordering Players Within a Slot
Click any player to select them (they turn light blue). Then click a second player in the same slot to move the first player directly above the second player. You can also reorder by clicking player names in the stats table at the bottom of the page.
- To move a player to the bench, select them first, then click the ---------- row in the same slot.
- Blank spaces and "----------" or "Bench" cannot be clicked first — only after another player in the same slot has been selected.
- Reordering is only available when viewing your own lineup.
Swapping Slot Positions
Click two Slot header buttons (e.g. "Slot 1", "Slot 3") to swap the entire contents of those two slots, including all their players.
Saving Your Lineup
Click the Submit button to save your lineup. A confirmation message will appear showing the date your new lineup takes effect (changes made after 8:00 AM take effect the following day). The Submit button is only available when viewing your own lineup.
Viewing Stats
Click any player name or slot header to load a stats table at the bottom of the page for that slot. You can switch between Day Stats, Week (day-by-day), Weekly Totals, and Year-to-Date views, and use the date picker to select the date or week. Click any column header in the stats table to sort by that column.
Viewing Other Teams' Lineups
Use the Team dropdown to view any team's lineup. Stats and priority highlighting are fully available in read-only mode. Reordering and submitting are disabled when viewing another team's lineup.
Settings
Click the Settings link to open the Settings window, which contains four display options:
- Show priority highlighting — Colors player names based on lineup position certainty. A player shown in green is guaranteed to start in that slot (assuming they get 2 PAs), because every player above them is locked into an earlier slot. A player shown in gray can never start in that slot because they are guaranteed to start in an earlier slot. All other players are shown in black.
- Link OF spots — Keeps the OF1, OF2, and OF3 slots in the same player order. Reordering any one OF slot will automatically update the other two.
- Abbreviate player names — Abbreviates first names to initials (e.g. "S. Ohtani") to make the lineup tables more compact.
- Alternate table row colors — Adds alternating white and light blue row shading to the stats table for easier reading.
